The Disabled Parking stencil is available in various sizes and is primarily used for road marking and car park applications. The height of the stencil is measured from the bottom to the top of the symbol. A default bleed area is included on the stencil to prevent over-spray. These standards state that each designated parking space should be identified by a white access symbol, as described in AS 1428.1. The symbol should be between 800 mm and 1000 mm in height and placed on a blue rectangle, with no side exceeding 1200 mm. The symbol should be placed as a pavement marking in the center of the space, approximately 500 mm to 600 mm from its entry point.
